1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PlayerZHero ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, club owners, and anyone who submits information to the directory.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. What PlayerZHero Is

PlayerZHero is an online directory of basketball clubs in Canada. We list clubs to help players and parents find programs in their area. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any club listed in the directory.

Club information is provided by club owners or sourced from publicly available information. We do not verify the accuracy of club listings and make no representations about the quality, safety, or suitability of any listed club.

3. Club Listings

Free listings

Anyone may submit a basketball club for inclusion in the directory. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you are authorised to represent the club and that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation.

Pro listings ($9/month)

Pro listings include enhanced placement and additional features as described on the Add Your Club page. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. We invoice Pro subscribers directly via email.

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time by emailing us at legal@playerzhero.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Accuracy of listings

You are responsible for keeping your club listing accurate and up to date. To update your listing, email us at legal@playerzhero.com. We are not responsible for outdated or inaccurate listing information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent club information
• Submit listings for clubs you are not authorised to represent
• Use the Site to distribute spam, advertising, or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site in bulk without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to remove listings and/or block access to the Site for users who violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on PlayerZHero — including the site design, layout, code, and editorial text — is owned by or licensed to PlayerZHero and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Club names, logos, and websites remain the property of their respective owners. By submitting a club listing, you grant PlayerZHero a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the submitted information on the Site and in search engine results.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our express written permission.

6. External Links

The Site contains links to external club websites. These links are provided for convenience only. PlayerZHero has no control over the content of external sites and accepts no responsibility for them. Linking to an external site does not imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Site will be available at all times or free from errors
• Club listings are accurate, complete, or current
• Any club listed is reputable, safe, or suitable for your needs
• The Site is free from viruses or other harmful components

You use the Site and rely on its information at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlayerZHero and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any club listed in the directory.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.
