How This Is Calculated
Canadian minor basketball seasons run from September to August. Most associations group players by the age they turn (or will turn) by December 31 of that season — not by their exact birth date. This tool uses that same birth-year cutoff to estimate a national default age group.
Some provincial and local associations use slightly different cutoffs or division names, so always confirm the exact age group with your club before registering.
